Previously methodology to research on history was based on the studies of political history on the basic of code – records, museum and archive records, In this aspect giving emphasis on a specific lime – frame in the past and centering on persons of govern had been of prime importance. Recently this approach has been considered as poor methodology. Now historians like Brenning, Aiolffi, Vijoya Ramaswamy, Hamida Hossain have been following relied sources which are available locally. It is really a difficult job to discuss the human migration history of Tripura because of the great scarcity of data.
