Open and Distance education has to do with approaches and strategies to learning that focus on freeing learners from constraints of time and place while making available flexible learning opportunities. It permits people to learn with no barriers in respect of time and space, age and previous educational qualification-no entry qualification, no age limit, no regards to sex, race, tribe, state of origin, and so on.
