ZigBee is an open global standard used for communicating without material contact. It is specially designed to be operated on less-power digital radio signals within the range of an individual person that is personal area networks. ZigBee is operated on IEEE 802.15.4and is being used to build networks that lacks low data transmission rate, energy efficacy and security issues regarding networking.
